I dedicate this message to the upcoming and newly admitted Legal Practitioners.
You should know that law cannot solve all the societal problems. Do not over promise your clients that you can use the courts of law to help them while your conscience and research outcome indicate that the facts and the law do not favour them. Tell him/her the truth that he/she has no case to pursue or defend/oppose.
Do not be overly arrogant and greedy! Always act with the utmost decorum in every dealing with your colleagues. The clients will come and go, and you will remain in practice for decades if you keep on doing what is right. Your good reputation will attract more paying clients in the long run. Relax! Our legal practice career starts slowly, but once your office gets established, you will forever reap the fruits of your patience and silent hard work.
Good luck my juniors!
